Here’s an eclectic poster that made the rounds in March of 1932, courtesy of NYPL’s Dorot Jewish Division. Sometimes our records are extremely detailed, and in this case, you get a full translation of the bilingual text:
"A major function in honor and benefit of the prominent artists Isidoro and Clara Zuckerman will take place on Sunday, March 27, 1932.
After a whole year’s absence from Argentina, the famous comic comedian and dramatic actress Isidoro and Clara Zuckerman will again perform.
They will appear in one of the most beautiful operettas which had enormous success all over the world, “First Love”, an operetta in 4 acts with singing and dancing
The part of the fool Moyshe Khayim Fanpatsh played by Isidoro Zuckerman.
The finest actors will take part.
