Get Your Summer Reading Card Today!
The New York Public Library and the NY Dept. of Education have teamed up to combat the infamous “Summer Slide,” while also giving NYC students a chance to wipe away their library late fees.
Together, they will distribute over 1 million library cards to schools across the city, in an effort to encourage kids to continue reading during the summer break. As an additional incentive, participating students will have their previous library records wiped clean.
