Today is Manhattanhenge, when the setting sun lines directly up with the city’s grid. Before you watch the sunset, come to the Museum of the City of New York to hear MCNY curator Hilary Ballon and NYPL Geospatial Librarian Matt Knutzen answer the question, “Is New York City’s grid some sort of time piece?!”
The talk is at 5pm at MCNY, and tickets should be purchased in advance.
