The Latest: NYPL Will Open On Nov. 1
Thanks to the hard work of our Facilities team, The New York Public Library will reopen 55 of its branches from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 1. Unfortunately, ongoing power outages caused by Hurricane Sandy are keeping some branches (particularly those in Staten Island and lower Manhattan) closed - please check nypl.org for details. We are working to open those branches, including our landmark 42nd Street building, as soon as possible.
Please note: all fines on items due between Oct. 29 and Nov. 3 will be waived until Thursday, Nov. 8.
