If you weren’t one of over 2,500 people who saw our Foundations of Freedom exhibit yesterday, you still have two days to stop by the main library on Fifth Avenue and 42nd street to check them out!
This free exhibit displays a manuscript of the Declaration of Independence in Thomas Jefferson’s hand and an original copy of the Bill of Rights. They are on display in the Wachenheim Trustees Room (second floor) until 8 p.m. tonight and from 10 am.- 4 p.m. tomorrow (but tomorrow, you must be on line by 3 p.m. to see the exhibition - this is very important! Tonight you can get on line as late as 8 p.m.).
While you’re here don’t forget to check out the 1909 Honus Wagner card displayed throughout the month of July on the third floor and our children’s book exhibition, The ABC of It: Why Children’s Books Matter on the first floor. All of this, of course, is free!
