1. Happy Birthday, J.K. Rowling! Today, celebrate the bloody brilliant author who wrote the beloved Harry Potter series by checking out one of the Potter books (or, if you prefer, one of the films on DVD). It’s also Harry’s birthday, so this is a particularly appropriate way to celebrate. Or, if you’re not in a wizard / dragons / Quidditch sort of mood, check out a copy of Rowling’s novel The Casual Vacancy, or her new book, The Cuckoo’s Callingwritten under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith (there is a definite wait for that one - sorry, we didn’t know she wrote it!). In conclusion, do we love J.K. Rowling? Always.
