In honor of the 80th birthday of Broadway songwriter Jerry Herman, the Tony Award-winning composer of Mame, Hello, Dolly! and La Cage Aux Folles, we thought we’d run this photo of he and his beloved cat Mrs. Levi (named after Dolly). It’s from our Kenn Duncan Archive at the Library For The Performing Arts, and as taken on February 22, 1974 as Herman was composing Mack and Mabel. So today, Caturday goes to Broadway. Enjoy!
