Taylor won two Academy Awards for best actress and starred in over 60 films during her career, including “Father of the Bride,” “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?,” “Butterfield 8,” “Suddenly, Last Summer,” and “A Place In The Sun.” She was also known for her quotable personality, her eight marriages and her strong work as an AIDS philanthropist.
