This week for Mustache Monday we bring you Siro Delmonico, the nephew of the founders of the eponymous restaurant group, who managed business downtown. You can read more about him in his obit, published in the Times on December 20, 1881. Apparently he was a tremendous cigar smoker, had an excellent memory for names and faces, and did well by the family name in the business arena.
